When you fly to Warsaw, then you should take a taxi or public bus to the Central Railway Station (Dworzec Centralny, in Polish). The distance is approximately 10 km.
When you come to the Railway Station, you should buy a train ticket. The train ticket from Warsaw to Poznań (one way) costs approximately 14 - 27$ second class or 21 - 40$ first class, depending on the type of the train (fast, express, intercity, eurocity). The train ticket should be purchased at the station; when purchased in the train, there is an additional charge or penalty.
