I outline the issue of dynamical consistency conditions for rapid turn inflation in 
multifield cosmological models and the derivation of such conditions for the case 
of SRRT inflation. I also discuss fitness tests for SRRT inflation and their applications 
to a few classes of models of rapid turn inflation which were previously proposed in the 
literature.
