Streszczenie
Let $X, Y$ be Banach spaces, $S: X \to Y$ and $R: Y \to X$ be bounded operators. We investigate common spectral properties of $RS$ and $SR$. We then apply the result obtained to extensions, Aluthge transforms and upper triangular operator matrices.
