Generally speaking, the uncertainty principle is a class of
theorems
that describe the concentration of a function and its Fourier
transform. A few years ago, Avi Wigderson and Yuval Wigderson found an
elementary new method to unify some different uncertainty principles.
They gave new proof of Heisenberg's uncertainty principles in
dimension 1 and asked some questions about this new method. We answer
some of their questions, by giving new elementary proofs of some
classical results, and also obtain new results on uncertainty
principles.
