The main goal of this school is to introduce some modern aspects of ergodic theory to the young researchers. This is achieved through series of courses and lectures given by renown mathematicians form all around the world. Although this event is mostly aimed at students, PhD students and Post-Docs, everyone is cordially invited to register and participate.
Mini Courses:
- Jon Chaika (University of Utah) Some arguments in equidistribution,
- Alexandre Eremenko (Purdue University) Topics in Geometric Function Theory,
- Davide Ravotti (Universität Wien) Ergodic and mixing properties of horocycle ows and their time-changes,
- Mariusz Urbański (University of North Texas) Thermodynamic formalism for symbolic open systems via
singular perturbations,
Crash Courses:
- Richard Aoun (Universite Gustave Eiffel), Random matrix products: stationary probability measures on the projective space,
- Reynold Fregoli (Universitat Zurich), On the Dani correspondence and its applications,
- Martin Leguil (Universite de Picardie Jules Verne), Introduction to smooth ergodic theory,
- Frank Trujillo (Universitat Zurich), Introduction to KAM theory.
Lectures:
- Jamerson Bezerra (Nicolaus Copernicus Uinversity), Regularity of Lyapunov exponent for $SL_2$ cocycles,
- Léonard Cadilhac (Sorbonne Université), Noncommutative maximal inequality and ergodic theorem for actions of amenable groups,
- Marta Kosek (Jagiellonian University), On some approximation problems in the theory of Julia sets.
- Xiangdong Ye (University of Science and Technology of China), Topological characteristic factors and applications.
Registration:
In order to register use this Google form. In the list of events, please choose the "lectures in May" and "lectures in June" option.
We may be able to fund the accommodation for some of the younger participants. If You are interested, tick a proper box in the registration form. However, take into the consideration, that our financial capabilities are limited and not everyone who applies will have their accommodation funded.
This school and workshop are a part of the Simons Semester Topological, smooth and holomorphic dynamics, ergodic theory, fractals, 01.03.2023 - 30.06.2023, Warsaw, Będlewo and Chęciny.
