The Second Hurwicz Workshop will be held at the Stefan Banach International Mathematical Center in Warsaw on October 22 - 23, 2010. It will be opened in the afternoon of the 22nd. A special plenary lecture by professor Eric Maskin (Institute for Advanced Study, Princeton) will be delivered on Saturday in the morning. The Sessions will be closed in the afternoon of October 23rd.

Following the line established by its 2009 predecessor, the Workshop will consist of a number of 30 minute presentations (including 5 minutes for discussion) by post-docs, doctoral students and young researchers working in the field. A panel discussion devoted to the role of quantitative techniques in the economical research is also previewed. The Workshop will be steered by the Programme Committee.
