See how-to-get-there for information on how to travel to Poznan. All the participants that need a taxi to come from either Poznan airport or Poznan train station to the Banach Conference center received the necessary information by e-mail, including:

Poznan train station: the taxi driver will be waiting near the ticket office (kasa) no 1 and will display a banner saying "Bedlewo". Please see the map of the train station: http://pkpsa.pl/dla-pasazera/dworzec/mapy1/mapa_poznan.html (kasa biletowa = ticket office).

Poznan airport: the taxi driver will be waiting near the exit from the arrivals hall, next to Currency Exchange Express and Information desk and will display a banner saying "Bedlewo". Please see the map of the airport: http://parking.airport-poznan.com.pl/pl/plan-parkingow

Poznan bus station: you go to the meeting point at the train station (see above), to do so, you go upstairs to the main hall of the train station, see a drawing here.

Abstract

If you want to give a talk or present a poster (please make a proposal: either a 40 min or 25 min talk or a poster; when fixing  the program we will try to realize your proposal), you are required to submit your abstract. To do so you go to abstract and login using the e-mail address and password that you used during your registration.

Important dates

The deadline for

• - registration,
• - payment of the costs,
• - sending in the abstract

is April, 30^th 2017. Since the accommodation only allows 60 participants we suggest you register and pay as soon as possible if you want to participate.

Dates

• - June, 18^th 2017: arrival day
• - June, 19^th – 23^rd 2017: conference days
• - June, 24^th 2017: departure day

Conference costs

The total costs are 1 000 PLN (or 250 EUR or 260 USD) and include

• - full board accommodation (residence including 3 meals),
• - transport from and to Poznan (airport or railway station) at arrival and departure,
• - excursion,
• - conference dinner (an evening banquet and a grill garden party),

and should be payed directly to the Banach Center. Details you might need to do so:

The prices for accompanying persons are:
Adult persons accompanying foreign particiants pay 1000 PLN.
Adult persons accompanying Polish participants pay 500 PLN.
Children up to 3 years don't pay.
Children between 3 and 12 years pay 250 PLN or 60 Euro or 65 USD.
Children over 12 years pay as adults.
Please clearly mention any accompanying person(s) upon registration.

Registration closed

Since the deadline for registration was April, 30^th 2017 registration is now closed.
Anybody who registered after March, 22^nd 2017, when the registration was temporarily closed because the maximal number of participants was reached, will be notified at the latest on May, 15^th 2017 about the possibilities for participation.

Registration

To register you go to registration and fill out the form. In order to do so, you need to insert a valid e-mail address and a password. With this e-mail address and password you can later on submit your abstract, if applicable.

Poland is part of the European Union and the Schengen Area. If you need to apply for a visa to enter Poland, please send the following detailed information to our e-mail address differentialgeometrybanach2017@gmail.com:
 - name and surname,
 - scientific degree
 - affiliation with precise address,
 - date and place of birth,
 - number of passport and its expiry date,
 - approximate date of arrival and departure.
In case you need to apply for a Polish visa, please register as soon as possible in order to give the Banach Center enough time to provide you with the necessary documents for this application.

Please add any necessary information (vegetarians, diets, accompanying person(s), request of a letter of invitation, special requests, …) to the “additional information” box.
Registration is only completed and your participation is only assured when the conference costs are payed.
