The workshop aims at:

- searching for new trends in such fields as extreme value theory, fluctuation theory or stochastic simulations and at overviewing new probabilistic techniques useful for modeling stochastic phenomenas.

- continuing the success of two previous meetings of probability groups from Lausanne (Switzerland), St. Petersburg (Russia) and Wrocław (Poland) held in 2018 (in Lausanne) and 2019 (in St. Petersburg).
