Programme
The schedule of the whole initiative consists of three parts. The first is the series of on-line mini-courses given by the top-notch experts (October – November 2022). The courses are designed to introduce participants to the most recent theoretical subfields in dynamical systems on networks.
Secondly, we are going to promote the realisation of the two-month-long applied projects regarding various fields, such as traffic optimisation, food webs, stock exchange, population dynamics, collective behaviour, epidemiology, application of stochastic PDEs on metric graphs. This gives the participants the opportunity to collaborate with an international and interdisciplinary research team (December 2022 - February 2023).
Finally, we organise the summary workshop/training school in the Conference Center in Będlewo, Poland, to disseminate the knowledge and, hopefully, build an efficient and lasting platform of contact between participants and their mentors. The meeting is planned to be hosted in a hybrid format (19-25 February 2023). In-person participation up to 36 young researchers will be funded by the Mat-Dyn-Net Action, the University of Warsaw and the Banach Center.
Participant-mentor joining and community building aspects of those activities are regarded as the priority of this initiative. Therefore we encourage everyone to register for the event.
Certificates of participation in NANT (with all events listed) will be awarded to participants who take part in all three parts of the event. The certificates for the single events will be issued on request. Regarding mini-courses, each participant can receive a certificate of completion of the course (provided that they attend all on-line lectures in a course) or a certificate of participation in a number of lectures (if they did not attend all on-line lectures in a course).
