Prof. Rafał Latała from the Faculty of Mathematics, Informatics and Mechanics of the University of Warsaw has received the 2023 Foundation for Polish Science Prize in the field of mathematical, physical and engineering sciences for the development of mathematical tools that made it possible to prove the Talagrand hypothesis on Bernoulli processes.
Professor Latała is a member of the Institute's Scientific Council.
