Jacek Krajczok, PhD and Jakub Skrzeczkowski, PhD - winners of the Award of the Director of the IM PAN for doctoral dissertations
The Jury of the Award of the Director of the Institute of Mathematics of the Polish Academy of Sciences awarded two equal main prizes for the best doctoral dissertations.
The winners of the award in the academic year 2022/2023 are:
Jacek Krajczok, PhD, for his dissertation "Modular properties of locally compact quantum groups" (supervisor: Prof. Piotr Sołtan) and
Jakub Skrzeczkowski, PhD, for his dissertation "Singular limits and rough behavior in evolutionary equations arising in physics and biology" (supervisor: Prof. Piotr Gwiazda).
