Abstract
The paper contains a characterization of the Haagerup property of residually amenable groups. The author first generalizes an argument used in a proof of a similar result of Chen et al. (2013) for residually finite groups to residually amenable groups, and then he finds a natural metric condition on a box family equivalent to the Haagerup property.
