On a sum of Apéry-like numbers arising from spectral zeta functions

Abstract
We prove a congruence for a sum of the Apéry-like numbers which were introduced by Kimoto and Wakayama in 2006, and play an important role in expressions of the special values of the spectral zeta functions associated to the non-commutative harmonic oscillator. This congruence extends a result of Kimoto.
