The objective of this conference is to bring together various local and international researchers and young academics working in the area of calculus of variations and partial differential equations with applications to geometric optics and free material design. A lot of open problems persist in these two industrial areas that require development of abstract mathematics mainly related to minimal surfaces, Minkowski optimization, optimal transport, and Monge-Kantorovich Equation.
