Journal BioMath
The journal Biomath is a companion publication to the conference series Biomath as it is available for publishing work presented at the conference. Specifically many of the keynote presentation appear as original or review papers in the journal. However, the journal is independent from the conference andsubmission of any manuscripts within its scope are welcome.
Scope: Mathematical results relevant to applications of mathematical methods or mathematical models in biosciences or embedded in such applications. These results should include deeper and substantial involvement of mathematical theory and non-routine mathematical methodologies. Furthermore, the journal publishes papers on novel applications of more familiar mathematical techniques and analyses of biological problems, which indicate the need for new mathematical approaches. Special attention is given to approaches that are outside the scope of mainstream journals on mathematical and theoretical biology.
Fair Open Access: The journal does not charge publication fees and offers free open access to the online publication. Printed copies can be ordered for a fee. Free printed copies of Biomath 8(1) are available for BioMath2019 conference participants.
Biomath is indexed since its inception in 2012 by Mathematical Reviews (MathSciNet), ZentralblattfuerMathemathik (zbMATH), EBSCO, Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ). As from 2019 the content will be indexed by Scopus.
