The aim of compact seminars, which are organized twice a year, is to introduce students and phd students into contemporary research problems of partial differential equations, which are closely related to other branches of mathematics, such as differential geometry, probability or statistics.

This meeting will focus on the analysis of fluid mechanics equations. We will discuss basic topics (the Lions-Aubin lemma, derivation of Euler system) as well as more advanced issues (vorticity formulation, Beale-Kato-Majda regularity criterion). We also invite experts in the field, who present further insight into the topic. All lectures will be in English.
