Center of Excellence in Financial Mathematics (CDMF)
Structure
The coordinator of the CDMF is the Mathematical Center for Sciences and Technology of the Institute of Mathematics of the Polish Academy of Sciences (IMPAN). The person responsible for the management of the CDMF is the president of the Mathematical Center for Sciences and Technology, professor Łukasz Stettner. The work of the CDMF is coordinated by the Board of the Center consisting of the representatives of the institutions that the Center is composed of and the group of independent experts. Currently, the Board of the CDMF consists of professor Łukasz Stettner from Mathematical Center for Sciences and Technology at IMPAN, professor Marek Rutkowski from the Center for Research Promotion of the Faculty of Mathematics and Information Science at the Warsaw University of Technology, professor Aleksander Weron from the Hugo Steinhaus Stochastic Method Center at the Warsaw University of Technology and professor Andrzej Palczewski from the Institute of Applied Mathematics and Mechanics at the University of Warsaw, as the representative of the group of independent experts.
The Center of Excellence in Financial Mathematics (CDMF) consists of scientific groups from:
- Center for the Applications of Mathematics of the Institute of Mathematics of the Polish Academy of Sciences,
- Center for Research Promotion of the Faculty of Mathematics and Information Science at the Warsaw University of Technology,
- Institute of Applied Mathematics and Mechanics at the University of Warsaw,
- Hugo Steinhaus Stochastic Method Center at the Warsaw University of Technology,
- and the groups of independent experts from other academic and scientific units.
