Funding Rules
The competition concerns the co-financing of scientific meetings and visits by IM PAS guests from the statutory funds of IM PAS. The application is submitted by a person employed by the Institute, who will be responsible for settling expenses. The Third Deputy Director makes decisions on the amount of co-financing for Scientific Affairs based on the recommendations of the Committee for the evaluation of applications for co-financing small research meetings. Before providing a recommendation, the Committee may ask the applicant for additional information or to modify the application.

Co-financing of Small Scientific Meetings
The program aims to finance meetings of small research groups. The application should contain the title, date, and place of the meeting, the number of participants, and a scientific plan (pdf file) with the names of the organizers and main speakers or lecturers, indicating their affiliations. In addition, the applicant submits a financial plan (pdf file) and an estimate of meeting expenses. The co-financing small research meetings and schools by IM PAS is up to 6 000 PLN. Research meetings exceeding 10 participants do not qualify as 'small scientific meetings.' Portions of large conferences/meetings are not considered "small scientific meetings."
Organizers of research groups co-financed by IM PAS must include information in the group's materials (on the website, etc.)
IM PAS Guests
The program aims to finance short visits of guests from outside Warsaw invited by researchers or research groups operating within IMPAN. Applications should contain information about the guest and the date of their visit. In addition, the applicant submits a research plan (PDF file) along with information about previous cooperation and a financial plan—an estimate of expenses (PDF file). The co-financing of visits is up to PLN 3,000.
Scientific papers from corporations supported by the program should include an appropriate reference to IMPAN.
