The Institute of Mathematics of the Polish Academy of Sciences (IM PAN) has been supporting the organization of the Ukrainian Mathematical Olympiad (Математичні олімпіади в Києві) for over two years.
Thanks to this support, students currently residing in Poland have been able to participate in the Olympiad. In May 2022, the first workshops were held at the Research and Conference Center in Będlewo, and in subsequent months, we provided rooms at the IM PAN headquarters on Śniadeckich 8 Street in Warsaw for the next stages of the Olympiad. In November 2023, the selection for the International Mathematical Olympiad IMO 2024 (first photo) took place. In January 2024, the third-degree competition (regional level, second photo) was held, followed by three rounds of eliminations for the final competition in February.
