In April 2023, a comprehensive renovation of the first floor of the IM PAN building at 8 Śniadeckich Str. was completed.
The first floor is a showcase of the Institute. Many eminent mathematicians walked on its wooden floors. Thanks to the renovation, it was possible to restore them, modernize appearance of the whole storey and ensure higher work comfort. A new social room was added, a bathroom was rebuilt, and a post room was created. The Banach Center joined the first floor too. New boards appeared in the corridors, and old boards in the seminar rooms were refreshed.
In November 2023, the renovation of the IM PAN branch in Kraków, located at Świętego Tomasza 30, was completed.

In August 2023, the renovation of part of the third floor of the IM PAN building at Śniadeckich 8 was completed.
Room 321 was equipped with high-quality audiovisual equipment (including new cameras and microphones), air conditioning, and freshly painted walls. These upgrades provide a comfortable environment for hosting lectures and conferences for up to 100 participants.
Two modern, publicly accessible group work rooms with glass doors (303 and 308) were prepared, each furnished with whiteboards and chairs. These rooms create a welcoming space designed for collaborative work and academic discussions.

The first floor serves as the Institute's showcase. Its wooden floors have been walked upon by many prominent mathematicians. The renovation restored the flooring, modernized the appearance, and enhanced the overall working comfort.
A new social room was created, the bathroom was reconstructed, and a mailroom was added.
The Banach Center has also joined the first floor.
