Tuesday 15:00-16:30, room 408
The seminar is of a working nature.
In the autumn semester of the academic year 2017/2018, we plan to study:
1. Part II ("CAT(k) Spaces") of the book by Martin R. Bridson, Andre Haefliger "Metric Spaces of Non-Positive Curvature".
2. M. Bačák, B. Hua, J. Jost, M. Kell, A. Schikorra, A notion of nonpositive curvature for general metric spaces, Differential Geom. Appl. 38 (2015), 22–32.
In the spring semester of the academic year 2017/2018, we will focus on harmonic functions on manifolds and metric measure spaces.
In the academic year 2016/2017, we discussed the following articles:
1. J. Cheeger, Differentiability of Lipschitz functions on metric measure spaces. Geom. Funct. Anal. 9 (1999), no. 3, 428–517.
Description of Cheeger's differentiation theory according to chapter 13 of the book by Heinonen-Koskela-Shanmugalingam-Tyson.
2. J. Gill, M. Lopez, Discrete approximations of metric measure spaces of controlled geometry, J. Math. Anal. Appl. 431 (2015), no. 1, 73–98.
3. A. Björn, J. Björn, J. Gill, N. Shanmugalingam, Geometric analysis on Cantor sets and trees, arXiv:1304.0566
